Does any one remember the Lowreys from Strood, who were fishermen? Charles Lowrey was my great-great-great grandfather. I think he had a son called Edward, also a fisherman.
John Charles lowrey known as jack was my great grandfather.he worked at Chatham dockyard.
Jack was my grandfather. His son, Peter is my father who died in 1989. Jack died in 1974 and lived at Rose Bungalow, Chestnut Avenue, Walderslade. The house has since been demolished.
My grandfather was Leonard Lowrey, your dad’s brother. my mum Lynda is your cousin. I remember going to Rose Cottage a few times with Grandad Len.
